Lovable Live Workshop with Ralf Schmitz on August 9 – any experience with AI website builders?
Posting this here because the board is about earning with a website or blog, and I would like to hear from anyone who has actually used one of the newer AI builders in production.
My own situation: I have three small sites, all built the traditional way. A theme, a page builder plugin, a handful of add-ons for forms and image handling. They work, but maintaining them has quietly turned into a second job.
What bothers me more is the time between having an idea and having something online. Every new project means another weekend of layout work before a single visitor sees anything, and I have abandoned at least two ideas at exactly that stage.
So I started looking at what the AI builders can actually do. The videos are useless for judging this, because they only ever show the finished result.
Which is why one particular event caught my attention. Ralf Schmitz, a German online marketer who has been in the affiliate business for roughly two decades, is running a live workshop over Zoom on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 11:00.
He builds a complete landing page with Lovable during the session. With that tool you describe in plain sentences what the page should contain, get a first version, and then refine it step by step instead of dragging blocks around.
The interesting part is the promise about the time frame: empty page at the start, finished landing page in under 60 minutes, live and explicitly not edited together afterwards. So you also see the moments where the AI misreads a request and how he gets back on track.

One important note before anyone books: the workshop is held in German. If you do not follow German, this is not for you, and I would rather say that upfront than have someone waste their money.
Price is 37 euros instead of the regular 199 euros. Seats over Zoom are limited, the recording goes to attendees only, and there is no second date planned, so you have to grab your ticket before it fills up.
My experience with AI tools in other areas is that the first draft is impressive and the last twenty percent is where the work hides. I suspect page building is the same, and what I really want to see is how someone experienced handles the correction loop rather than the speed.
What I do not expect is traffic. A page built in an hour is still a page nobody has visited. The offer, the content and the promotion stay exactly as much work as before.
Where I do see a real difference is testing. When a second version costs twenty minutes instead of half a day, you actually try two headlines instead of keeping the first draft forever.
So my question to the board: has anyone here built a money site entirely with one of these AI builders, and how much manual cleanup was left at the end?
